The Dirt Band - For A Little While / For A Little While

Description
Country rock has always had room for a little looseness: the sturdy pull of country meeting the open-hearted lift of rock and pop. The Dirt Band bring that tradition to “For A Little While,” a song whose title holds a gentle sense of time passing. Here it appears on both sides, giving the same name a place to linger rather than asking it to tell two different stories. Issued in 1978 on United Artists Records, catalog UA-X1268-Y, this USA pressing belongs to a period when country and pop-rock could share common ground without losing their distinct roots. The Dirt Band’s country-rock identity is the thread that ties the record together.
