The Fireballs - Light In The Window / Long Green

Description
Atco Records’ 45-6651 pairs The Fireballs’ “Light In The Window” with “Long Green,” bringing two concise titles together in the restless spirit of garage rock. The Fireballs are a rock band, and this 7-inch sits where direct, guitar-minded rock meets the snap of pop: a tradition that prizes immediacy, memorable hooks and songs that get to the point. The titles leave the details of their stories open, but their pairing gives this single its own neat little contrast. Pressed in the United States, it belongs to the enduring appeal of the 45: a small format built for songs that make their case quickly.
