The Flying Machine - Maybe We've Been Loving Too Long / Smile A Little Smile For Me

Description
Congress single C-6000 pairs two songs by The Flying Machine: “Maybe We've Been Loving Too Long” and “Smile A Little Smile For Me.” The contrast in their titles gives this 7-inch an appealing sense of balance, while the group’s pop-rock setting places the record in a tradition built around concise songs and memorable vocal hooks. Soft rock often finds its charm in a lighter touch, leaving space for melody to carry the moment; here, that approach meets the direct, compact form of the pop single. Two distinct titles make this a neat introduction to The Flying Machine’s place in that melodic pop landscape.
