The Flying Machine - Smile A Little Smile For Me / Maybe We've Been Loving Too Long

Description
On Congress, The Flying Machine bring two softly shaped pop songs together on C-6000: “Smile A Little Smile For Me” and “Maybe We've Been Loving Too Long.” The first title carries the open-hearted directness of classic pop, where a clear melody and a simple invitation can make a song feel instantly familiar. The second turns toward love’s longer, more complicated passage, giving this pairing a gentle emotional contrast without losing its easygoing spirit. Pop has always had room for both bright affection and tender reflection, and these songs sit naturally in that tradition. The Flying Machine’s two titles leave that contrast at the center.
