The Human League - Non-Stop / Mirror Man

Description
With “Non-Stop,” The Human League bring a memorable title into the bright, streamlined world of early-’80s synth-pop. The style made electronic instruments part of pop’s everyday language, pairing precise machine-made textures with the pull of a strong song; here, “Mirror Man” gives the other side its own distinct place in the set. Released in 1983 on A&M Records as AM-2587, this United States pressing catches a moment when synthesizers were no longer a novelty but a natural part of the pop landscape. The Human League’s name remains closely tied to that shift, when electronic sounds moved confidently into the heart of mainstream pop.
