The Irish Rovers - The Biplane, Ever More / Liverpool Lou

Description
Decca’s 32371 pairs “The Biplane, Ever More” with “Liverpool Lou,” bringing two distinct titles together in a 7-inch single from The Irish Rovers. Folk songs often travel by way of memorable names and stories, carried from one voice to another and reshaped along the way; that storytelling tradition gives this pairing a welcoming place to begin. The Irish Rovers are a folk group, and their name sits naturally beside a set of songs rooted in folk’s enduring exchange between performers and listeners. There’s a pleasing contrast in the titles alone, from the unexpected “The Biplane, Ever More” to “Liverpool Lou,” each inviting its own curiosity.
