The Jets - Curiosity / Love Umbrella

Description
Pop has always had room for bright hooks and a little mystery, and synth-pop brought that spirit into the crisp, electronic textures of the 1980s. The Jets set that scene in motion with “Curiosity,” a title that invites questions without giving anything away, then turn to “Love Umbrella” on the other side, where the image itself suggests how neatly pop can fold romance into a memorable phrase. Together, the songs make a compact pair of snapshots from a decade when keyboards moved confidently to the front of the pop conversation. Mca Records issued this 1985 U.S. single as MCA-52682.
