The Jimmy Wisner Sound Featuring Marilyn, Linda & Fran - Two By Two / Something, Somewhere

Description
The Jimmy Wisner Sound Featuring Marilyn, Linda & Fran brings “Two By Two” into the world of musical theatre, where a melody can carry a story as readily as a line of dialogue. Stage songs often have to do two things at once: give a character a voice and leave listeners with a tune worth returning to. That balance is part of the lasting appeal of the musical tradition, and it gives this easy-listening selection its natural context. On the flip, “Something, Somewhere” opens another path through that theatrical songbook. Wizdom Records issued it as W 1982, a United States pressing rooted in songs made to serve a story.
