The Kinks - Come On Now / Tired Of Waiting For You

Description
The Kinks bring two different kinds of momentum to this Reprise single, catalog number 0347. “Come On Now” keeps the story moving with a direct, lively title, while “Tired Of Waiting For You” turns toward the familiar tension of waiting for someone to make a move. Together, the songs point to pop’s knack for making everyday feelings feel immediate, with rock’s punch giving the words a sharper edge. That mix of catchy songwriting and restless energy is part of what makes this record’s pairing so appealing: one side presses forward, the other lingers on anticipation. The Kinks are the thread connecting both moods.
