The Left Banke - Pretty Ballerina / Walk Away Renee

Description
The Left Banke bring pop’s gift for a memorable melody into the sweeping world of symphonic rock, where a song can feel intimate and grand at once. “Pretty Ballerina” opens the story, its title suggesting a delicate figure held in a carefully shaped scene; then “Walk Away Renee” turns the record toward a second portrait, leaving the two songs to sit beside each other like contrasting chapters. The group’s name belongs naturally to this blend of pop craft and orchestral ambition, a tradition that makes room for both concise songwriting and richer arrangements. This United States 7-inch single pairs both titles on Smash Records, S-1416.
