The Les Morgan Orchestra - Some Enchanted Evening / A Wonderful Guy / Ha'i / I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair

Description
Ah, a little Broadway sunshine. The Les Morgan Orchestra brings four songs from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific into the world of orchestral easy listening, where stage melodies meet the polished sweep of big-band tradition. “Some Enchanted Evening / A Wonderful Guy” shares the spotlight with “Ha'i / I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair,” carrying the musical’s blend of romance, wit and theatrical storytelling into a compact set. On Tops, catalog 45-R1022, the familiar songs invite a fresh encounter with a show built around memorable melodies and sharply drawn characters. South Pacific’s songs remain a vivid example of Broadway’s gift for joining spectacle and feeling.
