The Lettermen - The Way You Look Tonight / That's My Desire

Description
The Lettermen bring the art of close harmony to a pair of standards with very different kinds of romance. “The Way You Look Tonight” carries the graceful courtship tradition of the American popular songbook, where a melody can make a simple declaration feel enduring. On the reverse, “That's My Desire” turns toward the tender, yearning language of a love song. The group’s vocal-pop approach links these familiar titles without making them feel like mere keepsakes: each song gives the singers a distinct story to shape. Issued by Capitol Records as 4586, this single shows how standards keep finding new life in harmony singing.
