The Lovin' Spoonful - Full Measure / Nashville Cats

Description
“Full Measure” opens a path into the bright, song-first world of The Lovin' Spoonful, where folk-rock’s easygoing spirit meets the snap of pop. Then “Nashville Cats” turns the story toward the musicians who make a living in country music’s busiest rooms, a subject the song treats with affectionate wit. Together, the titles suggest a band attentive to the people and places behind popular music, not just its catchy surfaces. The single appeared on Kama Sutra as KA-219, a small piece of the group’s knack for bringing folk’s conversational touch into rock and pop. That blend keeps these songs rooted in a tradition of everyday stories set to memorable tunes.
