The Main Ingredient - Nothing's Too Good For My Baby / I Can't Go For That

Description
“Nothing's Too Good For My Baby” paired with “I Can't Go For That” brings two inviting titles together on this 7-inch soul single by The Main Ingredient. The group’s name sits comfortably in a tradition where soul makes room for both tenderness and a lively pulse, carrying feeling through melody and groove. Released on Polydor as catalog number 873 582-7, this USA pressing offers a neat meeting of two songs whose titles suggest affection and resolve without needing to tell the whole story. Soul has always had space for that kind of contrast: intimacy and conviction can share the same record, each giving the other a little more meaning.
