The Mob - Rock And Roller / Rock And Roller

Description
The Mob put “Rock And Roller” at the center of this 1975 soul release, a title that carries a touch of rock ’n’ roll attitude into the world of funk and soul. Soul has always made room for music that moves between styles, letting rhythmic drive and expressive delivery meet without fuss; that open spirit gives this track its place in the tradition. The flip side is also titled “Rock And Roller,” keeping the focus on the same song. Issued by Private Stock Records as PSR 45.016, this American single reflects the lively, cross-pollinating character of soul in the mid-1970s.
