The Moody Blues - 22,000 Days / The Voice

Description
The Moody Blues bring a reflective streak to pop rock, where a song can turn big questions into something intimate and singable. “22,000 Days” opens this 1981 single with a title that points toward the passing of time; the other side, “The Voice,” shifts the focus to a message heard from within. Together, the titles suggest two ways of looking for meaning, without needing to spell everything out. Issued in the USA on Threshold, catalog TR 602, the record belongs to a moment when thoughtful songwriting and rock’s directness could sit comfortably together. Its paired songs leave room for reflection as well as momentum.
