The Moody Blues - The Voice / 22,000 Days

Description
“The Voice” and “22,000 Days” make a compelling pairing on this 1981 single by The Moody Blues, bringing two distinct titles together under the broad, enduring umbrella of pop rock. The group’s name carries a familiar place in rock’s long conversation between direct songcraft and more expansive ideas, and this release offers a neat way into that tradition without needing grand gestures. Issued in the USA on Threshold, catalog number TR 602, the 7-inch single puts its two tracks in clear relation: one voice, then a stretch of time measured in thousands of days. The Moody Blues’ contribution here belongs to rock’s continuing life in concise song form.
