The New Life - Strollin' Sunday Mornin' / Only For Our Minds

Description
Soul often turns a simple contrast into a conversation: one side can open a door, the other leave a thought lingering. The New Life gives this single that pairing in “Strollin' Sunday Mornin'” and “Only For Our Minds,” two titles that invite different ways into the record without needing a story spelled out for them. The pleasure here is in the tradition itself, where a compact song can carry a whole mood and a flip can change the perspective. Issued on Amaret as 45-107, this US pressing keeps the focus on the exchange between the two sides—and on soul’s knack for making a small format feel like a complete encounter.
