The Original Animals - Please Send Me Someone To Love / Riverside County

Description
Barn Records Ltd’s 1977 single, catalog number 2014 109, brings The Original Animals into a classic rock setting with two strikingly different titles: “Please Send Me Someone To Love” and “Riverside County.” The first carries the language of a familiar song tradition, where a direct plea can hold both longing and dignity; beside it, “Riverside County” gives this release a second point of focus without needing a story guessed from its name. Classic rock has always made room for songs that feel immediate and plainly spoken, letting a strong title meet the listener halfway. Here, The Original Animals leave those two titles together as the record’s defining details.
