The Osmonds - Love Me For A Reason / Fever

Description
There’s a lovely pop-rock balance here: a polished melody with just enough grit to keep it lively. The Osmonds bring “Love Me For A Reason” and “Fever” together on this 1974 single, released by Mgm Records as M 14746. Pop has long made room for songs that can be both immediate and carefully shaped, and rock’s rhythmic edge gives that craft a little extra momentum. The contrast between these two titles invites a closer look at the group’s place in that broad tradition, without needing a grand narrative around them. This United States pressing captures a pair of songs from a distinctly busy era for pop singles.
