The Passions / The Mystics - I Only Want You / The White Cliffs Of Dover

Description
The Passions and The Mystics share this 1978 release, bringing two distinct names together through the close harmonies and romantic storytelling at the heart of doo-wop. The Passions take the A-side with “I Only Want You,” a title that speaks the language of direct, wholehearted devotion; The Mystics answer on the B-side with “The White Cliffs Of Dover.” That pairing links a personal declaration with a song title rooted in a familiar image of home and longing, while leaving each group its own place in the story. Collectables issued the 7-inch single as LDG 2108, a meeting of two doo-wop voices in one compact release.
