The Pat Boone Family - Please Mr. Postman / Please Mr. Postman

Description
“Please Mr. Postman” carries a simple message through a song that has become part of pop’s shared memory: someone waiting, hoping the post brings news. The Pat Boone Family takes on the title on this 1974 Motown single, placing a family vocal group in the stream of a song built for direct, memorable communication. Its title appears on both sides, keeping the focus firmly on the tune rather than adding a second song to the story. The label and catalogue number are Motown M 1314 F, issued in the USA. Pop songs endure when their everyday feelings remain easy to recognize, and this one’s waiting still feels familiar.
