The Pat Boone Family - Please Mr. Postman / Please Mr. Postman

Description
In 1974, The Pat Boone Family brought “Please Mr. Postman” to a Motown single, pairing a familiar title on both sides. The release sits at a lively crossroads: family pop meets the punchy vocal-pop tradition that made songs about waiting for a letter feel instantly relatable. “Please Mr. Postman” is the kind of title that carries its own small scene—someone listening for news, with the postman just around the corner. Issued by Motown as M 1314 F and pressed in the USA, this single gives the song a place in the Boone family’s pop story, while keeping its central message simple: sometimes a little news is everything.
