The Patterns - Take Me A Lifetime / Late Late Show

Description
The Patterns bring two sides of early rock ’n’ roll romance to this 7-inch single. “Take Me A Lifetime” sets a promise against the quick-turning energy of the era, while “Late Late Show” points toward the after-hours world that doo-wop made its own: close harmonies, youthful feeling and songs built to linger past midnight. That meeting of rock ’n’ roll drive and vocal-group warmth gives the record its particular charm, rooted in a tradition where a memorable refrain could make a small moment feel momentous. The single was issued in the USA by Alsand Records, catalog number 66—a compact entry in the enduring story of doo-wop and rock ’n’ roll.
