The Platters - He's Mine / I'm Sorry

Description
The Platters bring “He’s Mine” and “I’m Sorry” together on a 1957 single that catches rhythm and blues meeting the bright, direct pulse of early rock ’n’ roll. Their name belongs to the close-harmony tradition, where individual voices fold into a polished group sound and a love song can feel both intimate and grand. Here, the two titles offer a small study in romance’s competing moods: certainty on one side, regret on the other. This USA pressing pairs the songs on Mercury, catalog number 71032X45, with The Platters’ vocal identity at the center of the story.
