The Rhythm Makers - Touch / Touch

Description
In 1975, The Rhythm Makers put “Touch” on both sides of a Vigor Records single, catalog number VIDJ-1719. That repeated title gives the release a neat, insistent focus, while its funk setting points toward a tradition built on groove: interlocking rhythms, a strong pulse, and music made to move bodies as much as ears. Funk has always found room for compact statements, where a central idea can hold attention through feel and repetition rather than a crowded arrangement. Here, the two sides share the same name, inviting the listener to return to “Touch” and stay with its simple, direct premise.
