The Second Season - Down U.S. Highway 200 / Down U.S. Highway 200

Description
A little soft rock goes a long way. The Second Season’s 1976 single, “Down U.S. Highway 200,” sits in that welcoming space where pop’s directness meets rock’s easygoing pulse. The title carries the spirit of the open road, while the song itself belongs to a tradition built around clear melodies and an unhurried feel. On Janus Records, J-261, this United States pressing offers a glimpse of the mid-seventies pop-rock landscape, when concise songs could make room for both a sturdy rock touch and a softer, more relaxed approach. The Second Season keeps the focus on one song, returning to “Down U.S. Highway 200” on both sides.
