The Skyliners - The Loser / Everything Is Fine

Description
Jubilee’s 45-3806 pairs The Skyliners with two concise titles, “The Loser” and “Everything Is Fine,” and leaves room for the push and pull that has always made rhythm and blues so compelling. Soul can turn a small change of heart into a whole story: a line of regret set against a phrase that sounds ready to move on. Here, the contrast between those titles gives the record its own little human drama without needing any extra backstory. The Skyliners are the name to follow through that shift, while the lasting pleasure of R&B lies in how plainly it lets feeling speak.
