The Staple Singers - This World / Are You Sure?

Description
“This World” meets “Are You Sure?” in a single from The Staple Singers, where soul’s gift for joining personal conviction to a shared voice finds a natural home. Soul has long made room for songs that feel intimate and communal at once: a lead voice can carry the thought, while the music opens it up for everyone to hold. That tradition gives these two titles an inviting point of connection without needing to spell out their meaning. Issued by Stax Records as STA-0137, this 7-inch keeps the focus on the songs and the group’s place in American soul. The conversation between the titles is the lasting draw.
