The Strikers - Contagious / Contagious

Description
The Strikers bring “Contagious” to the dance floor with the bright, propulsive spirit of early-’80s disco. Disco has always been music for shared motion: a steady pulse, a room finding its rhythm together, and a refrain that gives everyone something to carry home. Here, the title itself feels like an invitation to join in, without needing a story beyond the music’s social energy. This 1982 US 7-inch single pairs “Contagious” on both sides, issued by Prelude Records as PRL 8060 AS. The record belongs to a tradition built for dancers, where repetition becomes a pleasure and the groove makes the conversation.
