The Three Degrees - Giving Up, Giving In / Woman In Love

Description
The Three Degrees bring “Giving Up, Giving In” to a moment when disco turned the dance floor into a place for both release and resolve. The style’s steady pulse and communal spirit made room for songs that carried real feeling alongside the invitation to move, and this 1978 single sits comfortably in that tradition. On the flip, “Woman In Love” gives the record another title to linger over, without losing sight of disco’s shared, forward-moving energy. Issued by Ariola Records America as 7721, it belongs to an era when a seven-inch could deliver a whole evening’s worth of possibility in a few minutes.
