The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra Starring Warren Covington - Tea For Two Cha Cha / My Baby Just Cares For Me

Description
Cha-cha turns familiar melodies toward the dance floor, carrying the buoyant pulse of Cuban dance music into a world of polished popular song. On this Decca single, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra Starring Warren Covington gives that tradition a meeting place with two titles that need no embellishment: “Tea For Two Cha Cha” on one side, “My Baby Just Cares For Me” on the other. The first names the dance outright; the second brings a well-loved song into the same pairing. Issued as 9-30704, this American 45 links Latin dance style with the enduring appeal of standards—music made to keep familiar tunes in motion.
