Theo Vaness - I Can't Dance Without You / Thank God There's Music

Description
Theo Vaness brings a touch of disco’s dance-floor spirit to this 1979 single, where movement and melody share the same pulse. Disco grew from funk and soul’s rhythmic warmth, turning the groove into an invitation: music meant to draw people together, not simply fill the room. “I Can’t Dance Without You” and “Thank God There’s Music” make a fitting pair of titles, balancing a personal plea with a grateful celebration of music itself. Issued in the USA on 7-inch single by Prelude Records as PRL 8006, this release belongs to the era when a great groove could make a night feel open-ended.
