Tim Moore - Lay Down A Line To Me / Lay Down A Line To Me

Description
A little pop-rock goes a long way when it has a clear melodic pull. Tim Moore’s “Lay Down A Line To Me” sits in that sweet spot where rock’s steady drive meets pop’s knack for a memorable tune. The song appears on both sides of this 1975 United States single, released by Asylum Records as E-45287. Pop rock has always made room for songs that keep their arrangements direct and let the central hook do its work; that simplicity can be part of the charm. Moore gives the title a place to linger, and its repeated appearance makes the song itself the whole focus.
