Tiny Tim - The Hicky (On Your Neck) / Tip Toe To The Gas Pumps

Description
Tiny Tim brings his unmistakable novelty-folk sensibility to “The Hicky (On Your Neck),” a title that sets up a playful little detour before “Tip Toe To The Gas Pumps” takes the story somewhere altogether more everyday. Both songs belong to the curious space where folk’s familiar storytelling meets comic invention: a simple premise can become its own miniature world, especially in the hands of a performer who treats eccentricity as part of the craft. This 1979 US pressing pairs the two titles on Clouds, catalog CL-17. Tiny Tim’s work makes room for music to be funny without giving up its fondness for a good, plainly told tale.
