Tom Jones - Not Responsible / Once There Was A Time

Description
Tom Jones brings a commanding pop presence to “Not Responsible,” the A-side of this Parrot single, catalog number 45-40006. Its partner, “Once There Was A Time,” offers a second title to carry into the easy-listening and traditional-pop world, where a strong melody and a clear vocal lead have long been at the heart of the song. Jones is a singer, and this pairing puts his name beside two distinct songs rather than asking one to stand alone. There’s something enduring about the single’s compact conversation: one side answers the other simply by giving the listener another song to remember.
