Tommy Wills - Tuff Times / We'll Be Together Again

Description
Tommy Wills opens with “Tuff Times,” a title that speaks to a familiar soul tradition: meeting life’s hard turns with feeling, rhythm and a little resolve. Funk and soul have long made room for both grit and grace, letting a song hold trouble without surrendering its warmth. Here, that spirit sits alongside the more tender promise of “We’ll Be Together Again,” a title that turns the thought toward reunion. Issued on Juke as JB 2021, this 7-inch single brings the two songs into a compact exchange between endurance and hope. It’s a reminder that soul’s deepest stories often begin with what people carry through difficult days.
