Tyrone Davis - Love Bones / Let Me Back In

Description
On this 7-inch single, Tyrone Davis brings together “Love Bones” and “Let Me Back In,” two titles that sit naturally in the world of Chicago soul. Davis was a soul singer, and that tradition has always made room for direct feeling, supple grooves, and songs built to meet listeners where they are. Here, the pairing gives the record its own small arc: one title suggests closeness, the other a plea for return, without needing to say more than the names themselves do. Issued by Dakar Records as 45-621, this American pressing connects Davis to a vital strand of soul shaped around song and groove.
