Ullanda - Want Ads / Around And Around

Description
Ullanda brings “Want Ads” and “Around And Around” together in a 1979 disco-and-funk pairing, where soulful roots meet the steady pulse of the dance floor. The two titles give this 7-inch single a neat sense of contrast and connection: one song opens the door, while the other keeps the exchange moving. Issued in the USA on 9 Ocean Ariola America as catalog number 7500, it belongs to the era when funk’s supple grooves and disco’s forward momentum could share the same record without losing their character. Ullanda is the name at the center of this release, and these paired songs make the meeting of those traditions the story.
