Vanity Fare - Man Child / Hitchin' A Ride

Description
“Man Child” opens a window onto Vanity Fare’s knack for pop rock, where concise songwriting meets the bright, direct spirit of British pop. Then “Hitchin’ A Ride” brings the story to a title that became especially familiar to listeners, while keeping the group’s name firmly in view. Issued on Page One as catalog number 21,029, this United States pressing carries two titles that show how pop could make a small record feel full of possibility. Vanity Fare’s place here is in that tradition of memorable, carefully shaped songs: melodies built to travel lightly, and to stay with you after the record has turned.
