Visage - I'm Still Searching / Night Train

Description
New wave with a pulse: Visage brings two striking titles together on this 1982 single, pairing “I'm Still Searching” with “Night Train.” Synth-pop gave the era a way to make electronic textures feel immediate and human, while rock’s directness kept the songs rooted in the pull of a strong tune. Here, the titles invite different points of entry without needing a story attached: one suggests a question, the other a journey. Released by Polydor as POSP 441, this UK pressing belongs to the moment when synthesizers were becoming central to pop’s language. The enduring appeal of new wave lies in that balance: precision with a restless spirit.
