Vivian Reed - Medley: You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' / (You're My) Soul And Inspiration / Mama Open The Door

Description
Vivian Reed brings the medley “Medley: You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' / (You're My) Soul And Inspiration” into conversation with “Mama Open The Door” on this 7-inch single. Issued in the USA by Epic as 5-10382, the record sits in the dramatic soul ballad and orchestrated pop-soul tradition, where a song can hold close to a tender phrase and still open out into sweeping arrangement. The medley joins two titles, while “Mama Open The Door” stands apart as its own song; together, they make a neatly balanced pairing. Soul’s enduring pleasure lies in that contrast: intimacy and grandeur sharing the same moment.
