Wes Harrison - Wes' Car / Better Late Than Never

Description
Wes Harrison turns everyday driving into comic material on this Philips 7-inch single, pairing “Wes' Car” with “Better Late Than Never.” The titles suggest a familiar territory for comedy records: the small frustrations, delays and routines that can become funny when someone gives them a sharp twist. Harrison is credited as the artist on the release, keeping the focus on his comic voice and the pleasures of a well-shaped joke rather than grand spectacle. It’s a neat pairing of ordinary-life subjects, with a title that promises timing as much as subject matter. The catalog number is DJP-4 / PHW1-30765.
