Whitney Houston - All The Man That I Need / Dancin' On The Smooth Edge

Description
Whitney Houston brings two distinct sides of early-’90s pop into focus on this 1990 single. “All The Man That I Need” gives the release its central pull, while “Dancin' On The Smooth Edge” adds a second title to linger over. Pop has always made room for both intimate feeling and polished, dance-minded arrangements, and synth-pop found a bright new vocabulary in keyboards, crisp rhythms and carefully shaped hooks. Houston’s name anchors that tradition here, connecting a commanding pop presence with the sleek sound of the period. Issued in the USA by Arista as AS-2156, this 7-inch single captures two titles from a pivotal moment in pop’s changing palette.
