Whitney Houston - Greatest Love Of All / Thinking About You

Description
Whitney Houston’s 1985 single brings two different shades of pop together: the sweeping ballad “Greatest Love Of All” and the more rhythm-led “Thinking About You.” The pairing speaks to pop’s enduring knack for balancing intimate feeling with a confident, soulful pulse, while Houston’s voice gives both titles a striking sense of presence. Ballads have long made room for big emotions without losing their connection to everyday listeners; here, that tradition sits alongside a lighter, more groove-conscious side of the era’s sound. This US 7-inch single was issued by Arista as AS1-9466, a concise pairing that shows pop making space for both reflection and movement.
