Whitney Houston - Moment Of Truth / I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)

Description
“Moment Of Truth” paired with “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)” brings two sides of Whitney Houston into focus: a less familiar title alongside the song whose name has become a call to the dance floor. On this 1987 Arista 7-inch single, catalog number AS1-9598, Houston meets the bright, synthetic pulse of synth-pop with the expressive force of soul. That meeting belongs to a long pop tradition: electronic textures may shape the groove, but a singer’s phrasing gives it human warmth. Whitney Houston’s voice is the thread connecting these tracks, joining the intimacy suggested by one title to the invitation of the other.
