Willie Gonzalez - Seda / Vuelve

Description
Ah, salsa: music built to move between the bandstand and the dance floor, with rhythm at its heart and room for a singer to make each phrase feel personal. Willie Gonzalez brings that tradition into focus on this 1989 single, pairing “Seda” with “Vuelve.” The titles sit together on Sonotone Latin Records, catalog SO-15304, pressed in the USA. Salsa’s pull comes from its blend of rhythmic drive and expressive vocals, a conversation between pulse and melody that keeps dancers listening as well as moving. Here, Gonzalez’s name and these two titles mark a concise meeting point with that enduring Latin tradition.
