Wilson Pickett - You're So Fine / Land Of 1000 Dances

Description
Wilson Pickett brings two sides of soul to this Atlantic single, 45-2348. “You're So Fine” gives the record its intimate turn, while “Land Of 1000 Dances” opens onto the communal spirit at the heart of soul: music built to move between a singer’s urgent delivery and a crowd ready to answer. Pickett was a soul singer, and that tradition thrives on the exchange—personal feeling made vivid, then shared in rhythm. These titles make a compelling pairing, setting close-up emotion beside the invitation of a dance-floor standard. Together, they show how soul can hold both a private declaration and a roomful of motion.
