Wilton Place Street Band - You Don't Even Know Who We Are / Disco Lucy (Love Lucy Theme)

Description
“You Don't Even Know Who We Are” is a title that turns an introduction into a cheeky challenge, and it gives this Wilton Place Street Band single an inviting point of entry. On the flip, “Disco Lucy (Love Lucy Theme)” nods to the pleasures of disco’s playful side, where a familiar theme could find a fresh place on the dance floor. Released in 1976, the record joins the era’s appetite for soul-rooted grooves with disco’s bright, communal spirit. Island Records issued it as IS-078, a neat meeting of pop recognition and the band’s own name. Disco’s knack for making the familiar dance is part of its lasting charm.
