Z'looke - Lovesick (The Cure) / Lovesick (Doctor's Groove)

Description
Freestyle and new jack swing meet in a lively late-’80s moment on Z'looke’s “Lovesick.” The A-side, “Lovesick (The Cure),” sets up the song’s first turn; flip it over for “Lovesick (Doctor's Groove),” a second named take that gives the release its own little conversation between versions. That kind of two-sided single belongs to a tradition of making one song travel through different dance-floor worlds, inviting listeners to find the approach that speaks to them. Issued in 1988 in the USA, this 7-inch came out on Orpheus Records as B-72650. The paired titles keep the focus on one idea, explored twice.
